At Holy Cross we do not have the largest youth program in the area, but we do have one of the best.  We enjoy playing, learning and serving together in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our learning ministry includes devotions prepared by the youth;  Middle School and Senior High Sunday School; Middle and Senior High Breakfast with the Pastor; Confirmation for grades 6-8; and Teens Encounter Christ Retreats for grades 9-12.

Our service ministry includes CROP Walk; 24-Hr Famine; Christmas Caroling; serving in a local Soup kitchen; Operation Christmas Child; and special summer Servant Events.

Our play together includes lock-ins; group outings; beach retreat; movie nights; Lenoir-Rhyne Day; the Not-So-Newlywed Game; and many other fun activities.

Each summer we plan a special week away together.  During the summer of 2006 eight senior high youth and four adults enjoyed a wonderful and inspiring week at the ELCA National Youth Gathering in San Antonio, TX.

Mission Trip
Sr. High and Middle School traveled to Philadelphia to host VBS for children in the inner city

 Youth Sunday 

Once each year, the youth are responsible for worship, including the sermon.
