Webster's Dictionary defines the word "ministry" thus: "the office, duties, or functions of a minister; the body of ministers of religion; a person or thing through which something is accomplished." As Lutheran's we believe in the theology of the "Priesthood of all believers" and that each one of us is individually and collectively a minister of God's word and responsible for "making disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you..." (Matthew 28:19-20a) Holy Cross has many opportunities and tools to aid us in our ministries to one another and the greater community.
