Youth and Families
Lincolnton Youth Neighborhood Community (LYNC)
“Together, Sharing God’s Love.”
We are proud to partner with Lincolnton Youth Neighborhood Community (LYNC), a collective of five local churches with a shared heart for the next generation.
Youth meet on the first and third Sundays, rotating between the five churches, creating a broader sense of community and connection. Children gather on the following Wednesday evenings for their own time of learning and fellowship.
At each gathering, dinner is provided, and the kids enjoy a welcoming environment where they can build friendships, grow in their faith, and experience God’s love together.
Compassion Camp
Each summer, Holy Cross offers Compassion Camp, a special time where children come together to learn what it means to show compassion to others and to one another.
Through meaningful activities, lessons, and hands-on experiences, kids grow in kindness, empathy, and faith. Our youth step into leadership roles as helpers, creating a beautiful opportunity for all ages to connect and serve together.
Compassion Camp is a joyful and impactful experience where we come together to share God’s love in real and tangible ways.
Special Events Throughout the Year
In addition to our regular gatherings, we host fun and meaningful events throughout the year for children and families. Some of our favorites include our Easter Egg Hunt and Trunk or Treat.
These events are a wonderful way for kids to have fun, invite friends, and experience the joy of community in a welcoming and faith-filled environment. Whether it’s collecting eggs, dressing up in costumes, or simply spending time together, these moments help build lasting memories and connections.
